Daughter Replaces Mom’s Photos with Pictures of the Family Dog, and They’ll Have You In Stitches

As members of the family, don’t our pets deserve the same love and appreciation that we show our kids and husband? That’s what Marissa Hooper had in mind when she replaced all the photos of her and her family members with photos of her adorable dog, Dixie.

Whether she did it to play a little prank on her mom or she really wanted the family to celebrate Dixie, there’s no denying how creative Marissa got with her photoshoots. The teen and her pooch recreated her family photos, but this time there wasn’t a human behind the lens; instead it was Dixie doing the posing. Watch the video below to see the photos.

Using pipe cleaner and Dixie’s already extensive wardrobe, Marissa paid tribute to her older sister by putting Dixie in a nearly identical floral dress. She even managed to give Dixie the same hairstyle! Even better, Marissa took a black-and-white photo of Dixie wearing a flower nestled in a halo of black pipe-cleaner curls to copy a vintage photo of her grandmother. But our favorite has to be when Dixie had her own graduation photo! She has the cap and gown and everything…

We love this little photoshoot, but it’s certainly over the top! We’re just glad Marissa’s mom had a sense of humor.
