Woman’s World reader Janet Spaeth’s late husband found a touching way to let her know that his love would last forever.

Janet’s Guardian Angel story told in her own words:

My husband almost never noticed my jewelry until I bought a particular pair of silver earrings. I had paid too much for them, but I just loved them. Each one was a bell that made a soft tinkling sound when I moved. Every time I wore them my husband told me how much he liked them, and he’d reach over and tap one to make it chime. That alone made them even more special.

After he died, I left the earrings in a little dish on the counter in the bathroom. I couldn’t bear to even look at them; the grief was too fresh.
Eventually, I decided to wear them to a concert where he was being honored, but they weren’t in the dish.

Frantically, I looked everywhere. Each drawer in the bathroom counter was pulled out and checked. In the bedroom, I took the bed apart, emptied every drawer, crawled on the closet floor. I searched the living room under the couch and chairs, in the dining room under the table and desk, even under the stove and refrigerator in the kitchen. I couldn’t find them.
I was devastated. Time passed, and I continued to look for them, but without luck. They had vanished.
“I prayed and asked if he could give me a sign.”
Then, three years later, near the anniversary of his passing, I had a rough night of missing him. I prayed and asked if he could give me a sign that he was still with me, but I got no answer…or so I thought.
The next morning, I got up and went into the kitchen. There, in the middle of the floor, shining in the summer sunlight, were the silver earrings, laid side by side.

They certainly hadn’t been there for three years! As I picked them up, they chimed, reminding me that my husband was indeed still with me. I sank to the floor, holding the precious earrings, my heart full, knowing he was reassuring me of his love.

“Janet’s story beautifully illustrates how our loved ones can send signs to reassure us of their continued presence,” says Sunny Dawn Johnson, a global authority on the angelic realm, with a portfolio of 22 books, including popular titles such as Invoking the Archangels, The Love Never Ends, and 365 Days of Angel Prayers. “The appearance of her earrings, especially after such an exhaustive search, is a strong indication of the presence of her departed husband. Angels and spirits often use objects that hold sentimental value to communicate their love and presence. The timing, near the anniversary of her husband’s passing, and the way the earrings were found in the sun- light, all suggest a divine connection. She did indeed receive love from Heaven.” Read more of Sunny’s insightful stories here.
