A Squirrel Nestled Inside a Watermelon Is the Cutest, Weirdest Thing You’ll See Today
Squirrels do some odd things, but we’ve never seen one–or any animal, for that matter–get himself stuck inside a piece of fruit.
Yet that’s what appears to have happened to this poor critter, whose picture is getting pretty popular on the Internet. The squirrel’s head is popped out of one side of a small round watermelon, while his bushy tail is sticking out of the other end. Could he have been hungry and trying to eat his way through? Even weirder, this whole event appears to be happening on a tree branch, meaning this squirrel is as coordinated as he is prone to sticky situations.
On second thought, we’re actually pretty sure this photo isn’t real, and just a clever (and, we admit, nicely done) Photoshop creation. What do you think?
