Key Takeaways

  • The Hobby Lobby Weekly Ad has affordable Christmas decor to shop now.
  • Take home well-priced Santa and Mrs. Claus figures, blankets, pillows and more.
  • It might be early, but now is the time to shop these hard-to-beat discounts.

While we’re able to get behind summerween and fall decor—embracing the impending autumnal air as August rolls out—some might argue it’s just a little too early to start thinking about the holiday season.

Christmastime is of course a magical, celebratory time of year full of whimsy, family time and beloved festivities, but there are a few months to make it through before we start unpacking the ornaments—though that doesn’t mean you can’t start with just a little bit of early preparation!

This week, Hobby Lobby’s Weekly Ad is lined with discounted home decor for the holidays, and while we’re most definitely not trying to jump ahead to December, who are we to pass up deals this good? Shopping early often means saving big, so here, we’ve lined up a few of the holiday home decor pieces you’ll want to snag while they’re on sale.

Shelf sitters we can’t pass up

There’s something charming about a seasonal sign sitting on a mantle or resting on an end table, and during Christmastime, having a sweet Santa and Mrs. Claus somewhere in your home is essential.

The Traditional Santa With Rhinestone Buckle stands at about 18 inches tall and costs $17.99. Old Saint Nick is sporting his traditional red garb while holding a Christmas tree and a sack of presents, and who better to stand alongside him than Mrs. Claus herself? The Mrs. Claus statue costs $16.99 and shares similar dimensions with her hubby. She also sports a rich red frock while holding an ornament in one hand and presents in the other, and fans love what this duo brings to their space.

“This Santa is so great and the details are terrific,” shared one reviewer of the Santa figure. “I got him to go with the Mrs. Claus I had bought after last Christmas and they will look great together. This is very well made. Great price also.”

Another adorable addition to any surface in your home is the Merry Christmas Gingerbread Decor. The sweet signage spells out “Merry Christmas,” but each letter is designed to look like a frosted gingerbread cookie. Complete with sparkly clear glitter that resembles sugar crystals, this $7.99 addition is hard to pass up.

Add a little love to your living room

Plush pillows and seasonal blankets? Yes, please! If there’s any time of year we especially love cozying up on the couch, it’s the holidays, and sipping a warm cup of cocoa and nibbling on Christmas cookies is possibly one of our favorite holiday pastimes.

That being said, add a little bit of Christmas charm to your space with a fun throw blanket and a festive pillow. The Traditional Plaid Throw Blanket is tasteful while still tying in that Christmas color scheme we all love for just $9.49.

As for pillows, the Embroidered Merry Christmas Pillow is a charming accent at just $9.99, complete with holly and red berries.

For something a little more fun and kitschy, snag the Gingerbread Man Pillow for $9.49, his adorable smile making it tough to pass up.

Give your guests a warm welcome

Entryway accents can be hard to perfect, but there are a few we’re loving highlighted in the Hobby Lobby Weekly Ad. The Merry Christmas Red Bow Coir Doormat costs $7.49 and is the perfect piece to set the tone for guests entering your home.

If you’ve got a staircase or railing on display upon entering, try draping it with some Bead Garland for $4.99, the festive color scheme making it the perfect touch.

Lastly, if you’re looking for a creative basket to store your shoes, the Woven Sleigh costs $29.99 and is a great find. While meant to be decorative, it’s functional as well!
