Can You Spot the Caterpillar Among the Sushi?

Tags:

If you’re a fan of sushi, chances are the last thing you ever want to find in your dish is a caterpillar. But a new puzzle making the rounds on the internet challenges you to do exactly that. We have to say, it’s a lot more fun in the form of an adorable cartoon illustration.

You may recall how Lenstore.co.uk, a UK-based contact lens store, gifted us all with Christmas-themed puzzle during the holiday season (it’s not too late to find the Christmas pudding among the turkeys, if you haven’t already!). Well, lucky for us, they have a whole bunch of other brain teasers up their sleeves. So far, we’ve searched high and low to find the umbrella among the ostriches and squinted our eyes as hard as we could to spot the mushroom among the jellyfish. So, naturally, we were up for the next challenge of finding the mysterious caterpillar crawling among the fancy Japanese meals.

Can you spot the little fella?

Wow! If it’s a lot harder to find the bug than you thought it would be, you’re certainly not alone. As much as we hope we would be able to spot a real caterpillar shimmying its way along our food, it’s surprisingly challenging to find one in this cute drawing — especially since green is such a prominent color throughout the image.

The good news? If you give up, the solution can be found below.

We never would’ve thought to look there first! Give yourself a big pat on the back if you were able to eye it early on.
