Donna Kelce Teams Up With Heluva Good! Dip to Launch Big Game Countdown Calendar And Shares Her Crowd-Pleaser Recipe

Few people know how to combine football, food and fun better than Donna Kelce — affectionately known as “Mama Kelce” — mother of Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles Center Jason Kelce.
Last year at Super Bowl LVII, the Kelce brothers made history as the first siblings to ever play on opposing teams for the NFL championship. And just as she’s done since they were 3 years old, Mama Kelce was right there on the sidelines cheering them both on.
“It was pretty surreal! You feel like your life has become a dream — something that you don’t recognize,” Donna shares with Woman’s World during a recent Zoom interview about how it felt to see her boys play each other in the big game.

“There’s seven days in a row that you can look at prizes and different gifts and some recipes with tasty and creamy dips — I think it will be fun for everyone to get involved in that,” Donna shares with Woman’s World during a recent Zoom interview. “Plus, the dips are so tasty and creamy! My favorites are the Heluva Good! French Onion, their Buttermilk Ranch and also the White Cheddar Bacon.”
Mama Kelce’s crowd-pleasers
As a mom who began driving her now-superstar sons to practices since they were toddlers, Donna says she knows the challenges of keeping growing, hungry boys fed well.
“When they were younger and lived at home, we were constantly cooking because they were always hungry,” Donna reveals with a laugh. “They would graze constantly and even if I made a huge meal, they’re hungry about an hour later, so there’s a lot of cooking. I felt like when they went off to college, I got a raise.”
These days, Donna says she knows exactly what to have on hand to please a crowd when Travis, Jason or other family members stop by for a visit. “Of course we always have chips and dips at our house — it’s very fast and easy when people are hungry,” she says. “I make a 7-layer dip that’s kind of a Tex-Mex dip with refried beans and guacamole and salsa and I use Heluva Good! Jalapeno Cheddar dip as one of the layers. It’s delicious.”

Nourishing the people she loves most goes beyond simply what Mama Kelce puts on the table, but also knowing how to support them and help them feel cherished.
“I feel like I’m just a representative of all the moms out there that are working very, very hard to make their kid’s life better,” Donna smiles. “Obviously, we all go through rough patches and all you can say when you see a loved one facing hardship is ‘I believe in you, I support you and you will find your way through this.'”
Donna continues: “We’re every day, down-to-earth people, very genuine, very authentic and I think that is something that a lot of people don’t see with celebrities. People don’t realize that we’re just like everybody else — the same fears, the same excitement, the same loves everyone can relate to.”
