The Man Behind the ‘Stache: The Best Jason Sudeikis Movies and TV Shows, Ranked!

From 'Ted Lasso' and beyond!

Before becoming the mid-western football-turned-soccer coach Ted Lasso, known for his relentless positivity, optimism and kindness above all, Jason Sudeikis was leaving his mark in the comedy world, from his time on TV shows like Saturday Night Live to leading hilarious movies like We’re the Millers (2013).

Before that, however, the Virginia-born, Kansas-raised 48-year-old was working his way up the ranks of the comedy world the way many do, beginning with improv. It was in 2003 that he got a gig as a sketch writer for Saturday Night Live, kicking his career into high gear.

By 2005, he was a regular cast member, bringing to life his own renditions of figures like George W. Bush, Joe Biden and Mitt Romney, as well as a plethora of originals that still bring us a good laugh.

Throughout his tenure on the show, he could also be seen (and heard) in a number of popular series from 30 Rock and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia to The Cleveland Show and Eastbound and Down.

After SNL, he had continued success, but perhaps the peak of his career thus far is his titular role in Ted Lasso, alongside Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and more.
