Soap Star Judi Evans Shares the $6 Drugstore Product She Relies on For Plump Lips

Judi Evans always looks glamorous on Days of Our Lives, but she doesn’t need expensive makeup to help her shine. In fact, the actress tells us she often grabs her favorite beauty buys from the drugstore — including her go-to lip plumping gloss.

Rather than spending a ton of cash at a department store on pricey lip-boosting products, Evans picks up e.l.f. Cosmetics Lip Plumping Gloss (Buy at Walmart, $6). “They last forever and plump your lips,” she says.

“It’s not often that I wear makeup, especially since we’re home most of the time, so I don’t want to spend a lot of money on makeup anyway,” Evans adds. “My makeup artist said that the stuff at [drugstores] is sometimes better than the stuff you buy at the department store.”

That clearly seems to be the case for her beloved gloss! You can also check out our list of the best lip plumpers that boost thin lips.

Evans shared her beauty tip with Woman’s World while discussing how she recently overcame several health obstacles — including a severe case of Covid-19 — in the latest issue of our print magazine (buy on newsstands now or on Amazon, $59.60 for a year’s subscription).

The 56-year-old contracted the virus last year while in the hospital following a horse-riding accident. Along with bruises and broken bones from the fall, Evans developed blood clots in her legs from the infection.

According to her publicist, Howie Simon, she narrowly avoided needing amputations on two different occasions during her hospital stay. Despite all the turmoil, Simon said she remained in good spirits and was able to regain her “Judi humor” throughout her recovery. Evans also shared a handwritten note to her fans on Instagram thanking them for their kind messages during that dire time. “Your love and prayers and support have meant the world to me!”
