Who doesn’t love a Pumpkin Spice Latte in the fall? We know we do! However, it’s no secret that they’re not the healthiest beverages around — but big news, PSL fans! You can now enjoy a healthy alternative courtesy of Jamba Juice, called the Pumpkin Protein smoothie. According to a statement, the drink “offers a lighter alternative to common pumpkin beverages with its blend of almond milk, pumpkin spice, cinnamon, chia seeds and whey protein. The Pumpkin Protein blends together the nostalgic fall flavors of pumpkin pie get a health upgrade, packed with 23g of protein and 5g of fiber to keep you feeling full longer.”

Jamba Juice’s Pumpkin Protein smoothie is now available for purchase at their locations. We already completed our taste test, and honestly, there is next to no difference in taste. For the lactose intolerants (like myself), there was no lingering heartburn or acid reflux feeling after — plus, I felt equally as energized as I would have had I enjoyed the caffeinated beverage. Fans have also taken to social media to share their thoughts on the hot new product.
“I am in love with the pumpkin smash smoothie at Jamba Juice! Put in a couple scoops of protein and you are all set!” one user wrote on Twitter, while another added, “The Protein Pumpkin smoothie from Jamba Juice,” alongside a heart-eyed emoji.
