Even the Biggest Jigsaw-Puzzle Fan in Your Family Won’t Be Able to Solve This One
If you’re anything like us, you love solving jigsaw puzzles with the family or friends on a rainy Saturday night. But even the biggest puzzle enthusiast you know might have trouble solving this one.
Appropriately called the “Black-Hell” Puzzle ($19.79, Amazon), this mind-boggling game comes from Japanese puzzle experts at Beverly Enterprises who knew exactly what they were doing when they put this together. The 1,000-piece game challenges players like they’ve never been challenged before with a puzzle that boasts just one color on its front side — yep, black!
While the front of the puzzle is completely solid, the back of the puzzle does offer clues to players in the form of patterns to help guide them along the way. And oh boy, anyone who chooses to take on this devilish challenge is going to need all the help he or she can get.
On top of the puzzle pieces featuring the same shade throughout the whole puzzle, the pieces themselves are supposedly the “smallest in the world,” according to the company. As if fitting them together wasn’t tough enough, now we’re worried about them slipping through our fingers, too!
Judging by reviewers on Amazon so far, this game is indeed no child’s play.
One customer wrote, “We tried to start it… tried, it’s sitting on our coffee table in pieces still. We will get to it one day!”
Another commented, “Holy cow, the pieces are so small.”
Probably the most dramatic review read, “If you don’t read an updated review from me within six months, please send help!”
