A Soldier Noticed Something Unusual About Two Boys Selling Desserts in a Taco Bell. What He Did Next Will Warm Your Heart

A soldier is always meant to protect and serve their country, but sometimes they can simply do it by helping out those around them. Two young boys arrived at a Taco Bell in Mobile, Alabama trying to raise money for their church by selling homemade desserts when Army Lt. Col. Risdon saw them.

The 9 and 13 year old appeared to be cold and their clothes were soaked, so Risdon decided to ask them if they had eaten. When they replied no, the generous solider treated them to a lovely meal from the fast food establishment.

When asked about the incident, the army official told The Huffington Post, “I am a believer that we live in the best country in the world with the best people and that acts of kindness happen every day.”
