Prince William Says Princess Charlotte and Prince George Fight Over This Every Morning
Prince William is a future king, but he’s also just a dad when it comes to Prince George and Princess Charlotte! The British royal has to attend to his kids’ needs and mitigate fights when they happen, just like any other parent. And we’re totally giggling about what the little royals have been fighting about recently.
Even though they’re members of the most famous royal family, 8-year-old George and 6-year-old Charlotte are still just kids. And any parent of kids can relate to the little things siblings fight about every day. In a a special Christmas episode of Apple Fitness+’s Time to Walk series, William revealed what causes chaos in his household every morning,.
“Most mornings there’s a massive fight between Charlotte and George as to what song is played in the morning,” William shared. “And I have to, now, basically prioritize that one day someone does this one, and another day it’s someone else’s turn. So George gets his go, then Charlotte gets her go. Such is the clamor for the music.”
Luckily for William, 3-year-old Prince Louis is still a little young to join in on this fight, but we’re sure he’ll have his say in just a few years. For now, the family gets to enjoy the peace William has managed to forge. And luckily for us, William revealed what the kids’ favorite song is right now. “One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, ‘Waka Waka,’ ” William shared. “There’s a lot of hip movements going along. There’s a lot of dressing up.”
It sounds like an adorable family tradition that really bring the Cambridges joy every morning, and we’re so happy William shared it with the public. It could also point to little Charlotte’s future interests as the prince said his daughter particularly enjoys the routine.
“Charlotte, particularly, is running around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet stuff and everything,” the dad of three said. “She goes completely crazy with Louis following her around trying to do the same thing. It’s a really happy moment where the children just enjoy dancing, messing around, and, and singing.”
How sweet! Let’s hope we keep learning more about Prince George and Princess Charlotte (and little Louis!) in the coming years.
