- 24 red jellybeans
- Red, yellow and orange mini M&M’s
- Red, yellow and orange jimmies or sprinkles
- Candy corn
Instructions
- In microwave-safe bowl, microwave cream on High in 1-minute intervals, until hot; stir in extract. Place chips in separate bowl. Pour cream mixture over chips; stir until smooth. Cool.
- Line jellyroll pan with wax paper; top with cooling rack. Drop three cookies into chocolate mixture and coat completely; lift out with fork, letting excess chocolate drip off. Place on rack. Repeat with remaining cookies, reheating chocolate as necessary. Refrigerate cookies until set, at least 4 hours. To lift cookies off rack, use metal spatula.
- Melt each color of candy melts separately according to package directions; transfer to separate plastic sandwich bags. Snip small hole in one corner of each bag. Pipe a rainbow of candy melts in concentric half-circles on some of Oreos. Use toothpick to pull lines through candy to create pattern.
For upright “turkeys,” cut undecorated Oreos in half; attach cut side of one piece to decorated Oreo. - For turkey “head,” attach Spree candy with candy melts. For “waddle,” attach jellybean to “head.” Pipe on “beak” with orange candy melts. Pipe on “eyes” with cocoa candy melts. To decorate other turkey cookies, attach M&M’s, jimmies or candy corn with melted chocolate.
