- 2 (29 oz.) cans cut sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- Salt and ground black pepper
- Chopped toasted pecans and additional maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
PrintDrain sweet potatoes and place potatoes in a large microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave on high (100% power) for 5 min. Drain well.
Stir in butter, maple syrup and pumpkin pie spice. Use a potato masher to mash sweet potatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. If using, sprinkle with chopped toasted pecans and drizzle with additional maple syrup.
