Every year around this time, as summer winds down, the first leaves begin to fall and September rolls around, people all over the country start snapping up fall decor to decorate their homes for the cooler, crisp season. But purchasing all things red, orange and yellow can get pricey, especially if you’re someone who can’t resist the cutest pumpkin, tractor or apple-themed hand towels in HomeGoods (we’ve all been there!).
The good news: When it comes to decorating your home seasonally, you can get the look of those trendy HomeGoods, Pottery Barn and Target decor items for much less by checking out your local Dollar Tree. Whether you like to shop from the comfort of your own home or you enjoy the thrill of hunting the aisles for unique products, Dollar Tree has a lot to offer. And although items aren’t an even $1 anymore due to inflation, their prices are unbeatable, ranging from $1.25 to about $7. Note: When you shop online, many items are sold by the case, so you may have to buy 6, 12 or more of the same item (perfect for creating tablescapes, party decor or gifting!)

Nothing makes your home more welcoming in the fall than a sweetly scented candle (think pumpkin, apple and vanilla aromas). But candles can get costly, with stores like Target, Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn selling them for $35 or more. Fortunately, you don’t need to break the bank when it comes to candles, especially when Dollar Tree offers a variety of options, priced from $1.25 to $5, in scents like pumpkin, vanilla, cranberry and apple cinnamon.

On a recent visit to Dollar Tree, we found countless fall decor items that looked just as good as similar options at HomeGoods, from wall signs to hand towels, plush pillows, faux florals, lanterns, tabletop decor, outdoor decorations and more, starting at $1.50.
Dollar Tree is known for its selection of disposable dinnerware (think paper plates, cups and napkins for every season and holiday). But they also have a surprisingly stylish selection of ceramic plates and mugs priced as low as $1.50 each.
Influencers make Dollar Tree fall decor look even better
We’re not the only ones loving the new fall decor at Dollar Tree. Over on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, you’ll find plenty of people shopping at Dollar Tree, raving about their fall finds and giving them a little pizzazz with some DIY crafting. (Search #DolarTreeFallDecorations on Instagram for some of their favorites.) One Instagrammer, @thecraftedstudioco, shared how she transformed a $1.25 Dollar Tree styrofoam pumpkin into an adorable, trendy fuzzy pumpkin, rivaling a three-pack of fuzzy pumpkins from Target for $27.99 (reg.$43.99).
