What is the Frontier Airlines unlimited pass?

Frontier Airlines, which prides itself as being “Low Fares Done Right, ” is offering a “Go Wild! All-You-Can-Fly Pass” for 2025-2026. The budget airline is certainly living up to its reputation, offering this pass for an impressive deal: $299.

The annual pass for unlimited flights will be good for May 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026, according to the company’s website. It’s not just for domestic flights either—those who take advantage of the offer can get to some international destinations too!

“The GoWild! Pass is perfect for spontaneous adventurers, budget-savvy travelers and anyone dreaming of limitless journeys,” Bobby Schroeter, Frontier Airlines chief commercial officer, said in a statement.

There are two other pass options available, as well. The “Fall & Winter Pass” (which currently costs $399 runs from September 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025. There is also a monthly pass that’s valid for 30 days after purchase and costs $149.

Perks of the Frontier Airlines unlimited pass

With travel costs soaring, this special offer means you can hop around to a variety of destinations over the one-year period without breaking the bank on airfare. Newsweek took a closer look at some of the international destinations you can visit with this unlimited pass:

  • Barbados
  • Costa Rica
  • Dominican Republic
  • El Salvador
  • Guatemala
  • Jamaica
  • Mexico
  • Puerto Rico
  • St. Maarten Island
  • U.S. Virgin Islands

Another perk for pass holders? The airline shared travelers will earn miles on all GoWild! Eligible purchases, which could bump them to Frontier Miles Elite status, which allows for free bags and premium seat selection. It takes 10,000 miles to reach this status and reap the benefits.

Restrictions to keep in mind

If you’re interested in snagging the GoWild! pass, there are some caveats to this deal.

  1.   Membership in Frontier Miles is required. Passholders must be U.S. residents and members of the airline’s loyalty program before they can purchase. However, if you’re not a member when you buy it, you’ll be automatically enrolled, reports CBS News.
  2.   It’s a limited-time offer. The low price for the annual pass unfortunately won’t last. The deal expires after 11:59 p.m. MST on December 18, after which the cost will be bumped up to $499. (Note: After the first year, the pass will automatically renew at $699 a year).
  3.   There are no “extras.” included. Those with a GoWild! Pass will not be able to reserve seats in advance, and free baggage is not included. Seat availability is not guaranteed, though the ability to choose seats will be available for an extra fee.
  4.   Blackout dates apply. Not every flight will be available for purchase with the pass, including those operating during certain blackout dates around the holidays and peak travel periods.
  5.   It’s non-transferable. The pass cannot be used to purchase flight tickets on behalf of other travelers.

Ready to hit the skies? The pass can be purchased on the Frontier Airlines website only—not through the mobile app. From there you will be asked to select your pass and log in to your Frontier Miles account. If you aren’t already a member, you’ll be asked to fill out the info to join.

Then you can start booking your flights! You’ll have the ability to book select flights early by making reservations one day before a flight departure for domestic travel, and ten days before a flight departure for international travel. (There is an option to select some flights earlier, though Frontier Airlines warns that there may be an early booking charge).

The pass means you will only pay 0.01 in airfare plus applicable taxes, fees and charges at the time of booking. Newsweek shares this appears to start at $14.90 for domestic flights.
