As we enter the new year, resolutions and goals are at top of mind. A common resolution for many people is to keep a clean and organized home. And while many people head to The Container Store to stock up on top-of-the-line organization products, that can get costly! If you’re looking for simple ways to keep an orderly space without overspending, check out Dollar Tree’s storage bins and container section, where most items sell for $1.25. And some of them are pretty good dupes for products you’d find at The Container Store! See our top picks, below!

The Container Store’s Artifacts Trading Company Rattan Oval Bread Basket is meant to hold bread, but many shoppers use it for countertop organization or to corral small items like office supplies, chargers and more. But it’s at $56 for one, it’s not cheap! Another option? Dollar Tree sells a similar item: their Shore Living Woven Basket, which you can grab for only $1.25! Both baskets are six inches in length and serve the same purpose, but their prices are drastically different.

And Dollar Tree shoppers are obsessed with these baskets and the price: One review reads, “I saw these and had to get more. They made the cutest bridal shower gifts stocked with fun items for them to take home. They are perfectly priced, very sturdy and not flimsy at all.” Another said, “I bought these two weeks ago, love them. Great quality.”

It can be tricky keeping socks, underwear and small accessories organized—and that’s where a compartment drawer organizer comes in handy. You can grab the 32-compartment organizer from The Container Store for $17.99, but Dollar Tree has a similar drawer organizer that is 16 compartments—so slightly smaller—but also much cheaper. This Assorted Closet Essentials 16-Compartment Drawer Organizer is only $1.25 and works just as well for keeping your drawers organized—and at that price you can pick up several!

Dollar Tree shoppers have great reviews for the product, with one person writing, “I just bought these today. Wow, what a difference it made in organizing my undergarments. Thanks Dollar Tree.” Another shopper wrote, “I bought these awhile ago and omg they are so great for my socks! I definitely recommend you guys to buy this product! I bought 2!”

Plastic stackable drawers

Plastic stackable drawers work great for hiding away gloves, hats and scarves, or you can use them in the garage for tools, sports equipment and more. The Container Store sells a small 2-drawer or 3-drawer unit for $24.99 or a larger 2-drawer for $44.99. But you can shop Dollar Tree and grab these drawers for much cheaper.

The Dollar Tree version comes as separate drawers, each sold for $6, so if you buy two to stack on top of each other, you’re only spending $12! If you want three, it’s only $18—still cheaper than The Container Store’s.

One shopper wrote in a review, “These are the best storage boxes I have used for medicine. I am going to buy them for shoe storage because they are sturdy, stackable and you can see what is in them. I like that they are drawers instead of boxes with lids so you don’t have to unstack them to get at the one you want.”
