Hundreds of thousands of sauté pans have been recalled due to a potential burn hazard from some of the most frequented stores. If you do your kitchenware shopping on Amazon or at Costco or Walmart and you recently purchased a frying or sauté pan, this recall could affect you. Learn more about the specifics of the recall, what the exact product is and what to do if you recently purchased the pan.

What pan is in the Walmart, Amazon and Costco recall?

On April 2, 2026, the CPSC or Consumer Product Safety Commission, issued a recall that explained a certain type of sauté pan was unsafe to use due to its potential burn hazard. The specific pan that is affected is the Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue stainless steel sauté pans, which were sold in a 2-Piece Set with one pan measuring 10 inches and the other pan measuring 11.5 inches.

If you need to determine whether you purchased one of these pans, you can check the UPC (Universal Product Code), which is often located on the packaging, the bottom of the pan, or in any included instruction manuals. You can also check your purchase receipt. The UPC for these specific sauté pans is 0-80313-08131-6. If you cannot locate the UPC, you can still call the number below to see if your pan qualifies for a refund.

These E Mishan & Sons, Inc. pans, were sold specifically at Costco and online at Costco.com, Walmart.com and Amazon.com for around $40. If you made this  purchase on any of those sites or stores between August 2021 and February 2026, this recall can affect you.

E Mishan is specifically aware of 98 incidents where this occurred, with one resulting in bruise and burn injuries. However, the company is issuing recall to prevent further incidents.

If you purchased a Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue stainless steel sauté pans from Costco and online at Costco.com, Walmart.com, or Amazon.com, there are steps for you to take. You should immediately stop using the sauté pan to prevent any harm to yourself or someone else and contact E Mishan for a full refund of the product.
