Mini totes of all shapes and sizes are having a moment and it’s not just one store leading the trend. Retailers everywhere—from grocery chains like Trader Joe’s to big-box stores to hardware stores like Lowe’s—are rolling out their own pint-size versions of reusable bags.
Now Whole Foods is joining the fun with an adorable mini tote of its own. But don’t let the size fool you—these mini totes are surprisingly handy. Shoppers are using them for lunches, quick errands, makeup, books and more. Here are the must-have styles to keep an eye out for one on your next Whole Foods run.
Local mini tote design shoppers are loving
This limited-edition tote bag is the perfect addition to your collection. The Mini Canvas Everywhere Tote NY Green Line bag ($9.99) is a black background featuring a New York-inspired design featuring three fruits—a lemon, a blueberry and an orange—with the letters of NYC in each one.

Like Trader Joe’s popular totes, these sell out quickly and many shoppers have had to resort to finding the mini totes through third party retailers like Mercari and eBay.
