Obtaining GLP-1s for weight loss can take weeks and sometimes months, thanks to different types of insurance plans and increased demand, thanks to diet culture. But telehealth providers such as Enhance.MD are looking to make the process a little less grueling. After creating an account and filling out a quick quiz, you can meet with a doctor, have a prescription and receive your medication — all in less than a week.

Woman’s World caught up with Enhance.MD telehealth customer and influencer Manon Berryman (Edwards) to discuss what the process was like, and it seems as though she’s beyond satisfied. After struggling with postpartum weight gain and yo-yo diets for years, Manon reflects on her Enhance.MD experience, calling it, “Very easy and very affordable.”

Updated April 2025: We updated this article since publishing in August 2024 to reflect the most recent information about Enhance.MD’s GLP-1 program, including pricing, availability and other important details.

Enhance.MD providers prescribe GLP-1s quickly, affordably and completely online

To start, Manon’s experience differs from the norm. Because she is an influencer, with an account boasting more than 164,000 followers, aspects of her life (such as her weight loss journey) have been very public. So the company reached out to her, to see if she’d like to try it, whereas you would normally have to sign up on your own.

However, Manon underwent the same enrollment process as anyone else: She started by filling out a medical intake form, then she got some lab tests done. She went on to meet with a healthcare provider online, and finally, received her medication in the mail. The process generally takes about two weeks total, and you’ll receive ongoing care after you’re prescribed your first dose.

“It’s what they did beforehand — the labs are what made me say ‘OK, this is legit,'” Manon explains. “Then, you get your medication at home for a month, do your treatment, see your doctor for follow up, and they send you another medication. So it was overall very easy. I love the fact that it’s all telehealth.”

Enhance.MD offers both tirzepatide and semaglutide

Compounded semaglutide contains the same active ingredient as name-brand medications such as Ozempic, Rybelsus and Wegovy, but because it’s generic, it’s offered at an affordable price. Enhance.MD telehealth also recently launched a new treatment plan for compounded tirzepatide, which is found in Mounjaro and Zepbound. A customer service representative from the company tells Woman’s World that, “At this time, we do not have any plans regarding branded options like Ozempic or Wegovy.”

Doctors and customer care are available 24/7

Early on, Manon had some seriously uncomfortable side effects. But between being a mom, running her popular Instagram account and previously holding a job as social media director at a beauty company, she couldn’t stand constant trips to the bathroom. Luckily, staff providers were able to help. “I was having diarrhea and severe nausea,” Berryman explains.

I called them. They were very patient with me, because they have a great telehealth service, so you can call the doctor whenever you need. They answer you the next day and give you an appointment.
