But telehealth providers like Hone Health offer treatments for men’s and women’s health, hair and skin, longevity, and weight loss. You don’t need to commute to an office, sit in a waiting room for hours on end or even need insurance.

Hone Health provides fully virtual care
Health issues can make people feel as though their problems are out of their control. However, Hone Health’s promise is to “empower people to take control of their health and live their best possible lives.” It has a team of medical professionals who offer virtual, personalized care. They offer consultations, medications, testing, and a wide range of solutions. The founder, Saad Alam, says he was struggling with health problems, prompting a months-long journey to find answers and now aims to help people find solutions such as weight loss and hormonal medications.
The enrollment process uses a unique biomarker test kit
There are a few simple steps to start weight loss or treatment through Hone Health. After creating an account on Hone’s website, you’ll purchase a Hone 1 test kit for $45, to measure biomarkers and to gauge your and wellbeing health. After it comes in two to three days, you’ll take the test, register your kit, complete and intake form, and ship back your sample. Once that gets in, you’ll schedule a virtual consultation to go over your test results, complete any additional intake forms and decide on a treatment plan. Once you receive the medication, you’ll have follow-up testing and consultations every three months, to ensure things are working.
Hone offers other proven prescription weight loss treatments, including GLP-1s
Hone Health offers a different class of weight loss medications from most weight loss telehealth providers, for both men and women, that are not GLP-1s. However, each of them have been proven effective for weight loss. They are not quite as effective for weight loss as GLP-1s, and therefore, are generally much less expensive than Ozempic or medications of the like. In addition to these non-GLP-1 medications, Hone Health now offers compounded semaglutide.
Naltrexone
Naltrexone can be prescribed to curb a wide range of addictions. Along with curbing hunger, it’s also used to treat substance and alcohol abuse. It works by regulating the metabolism, and therefore it reduces cravings to eat.
Bupropion
Bupropion is another drug that isn’t solely used to curb appetite. It also treats depression and reduces nicotine cravings. But, because it raises norepinephrine and dopamine levels, it reduces appetite, and therefore leads to weight loss and increased energy levels.
Phentermine
Phentermine is a popular appetite suppressant that is FDA-approved. Because it reduces appetite and increases energy levels, it works well to induce weight loss with a caloric deficit and exercise. It has side effects which may include raised blood pressure, chest pains, swelling of the ankles, changes in mood, and shortness of breath.
Topiramate
Topiramate can treat epilepsy and manage migraines, by calming overactive nerves in the body. It also suppresses appetite and increases both energy and mood levels, which can in turn lead to weight loss.
Sermorelin
Sermorelin causes the pituitary gland to produce growth hormones (hGH), so it is primarily prescribed to children with growth delays and adults with hGH deficiencies. But when paired with a weight loss plan, it can also break down fat storages while avoiding the loss of muscle mass.
Compounded semaglutide
If you quality, Hone Health can now prescribe weekly GLP-1 injections. Name-brand medications like Wegovy and Ozempic are not available but Hone partners with FDA-registered outsourcing facilities and state licensed pharmacies to prescribe compounded semaglutide in a vial. This means that you won’t get injection pens and will need to adminster the injection. Hone’s physicians will help assist you in this process.
Hone Health also offers treatment for men and women’s health, hair, and skin
In addition to weight loss, Hone also offers a variety of other treatments. In the men’s health department, you can access testosterone therapy, as well as treatments that improve sexual function and physical appearance. For women’s health, Hone Health relief for menopause symptoms, as well as treatment that improves sexual function, increases longevity, and enhances appearance.
