Meeting a newborn baby brings pure joy to many relatives. For a family from Washington state, one moment, captured on camera, made that meeting extra-special.
Scott and Jennifer Martin welcomed their first child, Penelope, into the world a few days ago. One of the first things they did was take her to see her 92-year-old great-grandmother, Millie.
There, Scott captured this beautiful moment between generations. "The special pair had an immediate bond," Scott told Buzzfeed.

"They got to have some good eye contact time and it was a special moment for all of us. They just stared at each other for a while; it was like they knew each other," said Scott.
After posting the touching picture to Imgur and Reddit, it got 1.5 million views in less than 24 hours.
Oddly enough, it's not Penelope's first time as a viral sensation. She was seen by millions before she even left the womb! Jennifer posted this incredible video of her baby clapping in an ultrasound.
