Earlier today Jenna announced that her podcast, Open Book With Jenna was officially returning for a fourth season.
“Whether you’re a lifelong reader, an occasional book club member or simply someone who loves a great conversation, there’s a seat for you here,” Jenna said in the teaser. “I’m talking to some of my favorite authors, some of my favorite actors, anybody that loves a book. And it’s just going to be open conversation. So, we hope you’ll join us.”
“One of my favorite things about reading is that every book opens a door to a new world, a new perspective or a conversation you didn’t know you needed,” she continued. “This season, we’ll talk about the hottest books of the summer, the creative process behind unforgettable stories, the genres readers can’t get enough of and the movie and television adaptations bringing favorite characters to life.”
Naturally, fans went crazy, commenting on her Instagram post, “So excited for this” and “Love Read With Jenna! I’m so glad your mom showed you the love of reading.”

Jenna Bush Hager’s history with Emily Henry
Jenna’s first Season 4 guest will be Emily Henry. The best-selling author has penned six bestselling romance novels—Beach Read, People We Meet on Vacation, Book Lovers, Happy Place, Funny Story and Great Big Beautiful Life—and has talked with Jenna both on the Today show and on Open Book With Jenna, in the past.
Most recently, Henry appeared on Jenna’s show Jenna & Sheinelle to share her top summer reads. They include:

“I also have to sit back and let it unfold,” Henry said. ”It is our baby—the readers’ and my baby—but it’s also the filmmakers’ baby and the studio’s baby, and I’m along for the ride with the readers, and we just have to trust the vision.”
“I also just keep getting emails about everyone else that they’re locking in, which is not public news yet, so I can’t share, but I’m getting really excited,” the author continued. “They’re starting shooting very soon.”
