That’s right campers, the Gods and Goddesses have finally revealed details on the episode titles, plot, release date, cast and more, and we have everything you need to know below.
What we know so far about ‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3
Percy Jackson Season 3 was announced before Season 2 premiered. The upcoming season is an adaption of The Titan’s Curse, the third—and arguably the most popular—book in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series. The Titan’s Curse follows Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon, Grover Underwood the satyr and Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus, on a mission to rescue their friend Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, after she is kidnapped by the evil Titan Kronos.
“It’s a lot more mature than Season 1 and 2. The end of Season 2 really sets up the tone for Season 3. It’s written for a little bit of an older audience. They’ve expected our audience to have gotten a little bit older than Season 1 and 2. So I’m really excited for that to happen,” Walker Scobell, who plays Percy Jackson in the show, told Deadline earlier this year. “I’m definitely a little bit nervous, but at the same time, it’s such a great book to adapt to television, because there’s not really anything we have to remove. I mean, obviously there’s some changes here and there, but for the most part, it’s almost written perfectly for a TV show like this. So I think that’s my favorite part. There hasn’t been really any times yet where I’ve read it and someone’s had to explain to me how it’s going to work, because it’s really just very similar to the book.”

Following the initial announcement of Season 3, the Percy Jackson series’ Instagram began posting production updates, including when they finished filming, who would and wouldn’t be appearing in the season and more. They also shared a clip of Percy (Scobell) and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) dancing at a winter festival, which is one a fan-favorite moments from the books.
“This single video cured my depression and also fixed the ozone layer. Thank you,” one fan commented on the video.
“We are Percabeth [Percy and Annabeth] stans first, people second,” wrote another.
Who will be in ‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3?
Along with Scobell and Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri will return as Grover, Dior Goodjohn will return as Clarisse La’Rue, Daniel Diemer will return as Tyson, Charlie Bushnell will return as Luke Castellan and Tamara Smart will return as Thalia. They will be joined by Dafne Keen, who will play Artemis, Saara Chaudry, who will play Zoë Nightshade, Ming-Na Wen, who will play Hera, Hubert Smielecki, who will play Apollo, Jesse L. Martin, who will play Annabeth’s dad Frederick Chase and Holt McCallany, who will play Atlas.
Also joining the Season 3 cast are Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie, who will play Nico and Bianca di Angelo, two of the book series’ most beloved characters.

“We have found our Nico and Bianca,” Riordan said in 2025, per Entertainment Weekly. “They are such important characters to me and to the fandom that we knew we had to find the most incredibly talented young actors possible—and we did.”
When will ‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3 be released?
Percy Jackson Season 3 will be released in late 2026 and it will include eight episodes:
- Episode 1: “My Rescue Operation Goes Very Wrong”
- Episode 2: “An Old Dead Friend Comes to Visit”
- Episode 3: “I Learn How to Grow Zombies”
- Episode 4: “We Visit the Junkyard of the Gods”

- Episode 5: “I Have a Dam Problem”
- Episode 6: “I Wrestle Santa’s Evil Twin”
- Episode 7: “I Put on a Few Million Extra Pounds”
- Episode 8: “The Gods Vote How to Kill Us”
Will there be a Season 4?
As of publication, there has been no news on whether Disney will renew Percy Jackson and the Olympians for a fourth (or fifth!) season. Fans—and the cast—are hoping for renewals, however, as those seasons would likely adapt the fourth and fifth books in the series, The Battle of the Labyrinth and The Last Olympian, which are considered the most gory and romantic books of the series.
“I loved all the books, but there was something about Battle of the Labyrinth. I just could not put it down,” Bushnell told Woman’s World last year. “I specifically love the chapter when Percy goes to Calypso’s Island, because it just feels like that one episode that just has nothing to do with the main plot, and it just takes you out of it for a second. That’s what it felt like to me, and I’m excited. I really hope we get to bring that to life as well.”
Sava Jeffries also wants book 4 to come to life, because she’s excited to see how the romance between Percy and the mortal Rachel Elizabeth Dare plays out.

“I think it’s funny to see how I [Annabeth] act toward Rachel Elizabeth Dare,” Sava Jeffries told Woman’s World. “I’m 100 percent sure I’m gonna love the girl who’s gonna be playing her, but I’m excited to see how that’s gonna play out. It’s gonna be hard to film, because I bet they’re gonna be great, but I’m excited.”
As for who wants to make book 5? Simhadri told us he does, and he wants to see one special scene come to life.
“I love the huge twist at the end, and I think it’s perfectly done,” he explained. “I love all the little moments that Percy has with every character, but the thing I’m looking forward to seeing on screen is Clarisse slaying the drakon. It’s the coolest moment I’ve ever read on paper.”
Seasons 1 and 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians are available to stream now on Disney+.
