Thankfully, the author has you covered. Over the years, Rebecca has rated tons of books five stars on Goodreads, and we share our top five favorites from the list below.

‘Archer’s Voice’ by Mia Sheridan

Book one in Mia Sheridan’s bestselling Pelion Lake series begins after Bree Prescott moves to a small lakeside Maine town called Pelion, in an attempt to escape the ghost of her murdered father. While in town, she meets Archer Hale, a local outcast who doesn’t talk a lot but somehow manages to captivate Bree. As the two connect, sparks fly. A beautiful slow-burn romance.

What other Goodreads users are saying: “This is definitely one of my all time favorite books! I love the stories where two damaged souls find peace and happiness in each other, and I think Mia Sheridan is one of (if not the) best at creating these stories. If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t checked out this book yet you need to.”

This beloved romantasy follows Poppy, who has been groomed since birth to become ‘The Maiden,’ a sacred role meant to secure her kingdom’s future. But as her Ascension approaches, she questions whether this role is right for her. Then, when Hawke, a mysterious golden-eyed guard, enters her world, these suspicions are raised even more. A magical, spicy tale that will leave readers guessing.

What other Goodreads users are saying: “My brain and my heart are still reeling from the rollercoaster of emotions I felt in the last 20 percent of the book. Even though From Blood and Ash is over 600 pages, I read it in two days, and it went by so fast. It is a good thing that I waited until the second book was out before starting this series. I don’t know how I would have been able to wait for a whole year before reading the next book.”

‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ by Jenny Han

This bestselling novelis amoving coming-of-age tale. Sixteen-year-old Lara Jean Song has a series of love letters that she’s written and never mailed to her five crushes. This novel has since been made into a Netflix film, starring Lana Condor as Lara Jean.

What other Goodreads users are saying: “From the very start all the way to the end there is not a single moment I would change about this book. Every conversation, every interaction will have you hanging on each of the words both spoken and thought. The relationships, let it be family, friends or something unrealised all have so much emotional weight to them I couldn’t help but love them.”

‘Kingdom of Ash’ by Sarah J. Maas

Kingdom of Ash is the last book in the Throne of Glass series. It follows Aelin Ashryver Whitethorn Galathynius, who must escape from Maeve’s evil clutches and get back to her mate Rowan so they can begin to take back their homeland of Terrasen. We won’t spoil too much so readers who haven’t read it can be surprised, but trust us when we say it’s a wild, emotional ride.

What other Goodreads users are saying:  “The book is a perfect length, though close to a thousand pages, not a single line is wasted. Every possible loose end is tied up. Every hint or hidden story leads to this masterpiece. I can not find a single negative thing to say about this book. Except the series is over. Though I think almost any surviving characters are good enough to have their own book (hint/begging).”

This swoon-worthy novel is based on Peter Pan. Wendy and Peter were best friends growing up, but when she left their small town and never looked back, their relationship shifted. Now an adult, Wendy needs Peter’s help to rebuild an old car to auction off at a fundraiser to help foster kids like himself. As the two reconnect, sparks fly once again, but can they overcome their past and find their happily ever after?

What other Goodreads users are saying: “I loved Wendy and Peter. He was charming and sexy and she was a bit buttoned up but putting herself out there. I loved watching her character really open up. I loved their story and history. From the time they were kids to now and how their friendship and love grew. I smiled and was giddy and might have had to fan myself a time or two. They had a wonderful building love story that I couldn’t get enough of. Emotion and drama and fun, I loved it all!”
