Carrie Underwood’s music career is impressive on its own
Though her music isn’t the only thing that keeps her busy, it certainly takes up a big portion of her time. Songs like “Before He Cheats,” “Jesus Take the Wheel,” “All-American Girl” and dozens of others fill her repertoire, and seven of her albums have achieved platinum status, meaning they’ve all sold at least a million units. Worldwide, the country singer has sold more than 85 million records!

Carrie’s Sunday Night Football celebration
For years, Carrie Underwood has been the voice behind the NFL’s Sunday Night Football theme song—For some folks, it’s the part they look forward to most each week! Underwood makes Tennessee her home
Since her rise to fame, Carrie Underwood has built the life of her dreams, not only in terms of her career, but her personal life as well. Married to former NHL star Mike Fisher with two sons of their own, the family has settled down in Tennessee. The couple bought the 400 acres of land that their home now sits on back in 2011 and moved to the more rural area of Franklin, Tennessee, where their from-scratch home was built around 2018. As reported by Hello!, the land was purchased for around $3 million, not including the amount spent crafting the family’s dream home.
Carrie’s ‘Idol’ income

Not long ago, news broke that Carrie Underwood would go back to her roots once again, serving as one of the hosts on American Idol. According to Life&Style, Underwood reportedly earned around half of the $25 million Katy Perry, whom she replaced, earned each season. The reason for this pay cut had to do with the fact that Underwood had a “vested interest in the franchise continuing,” as one of the show’s previous winners, a source shared.
Vegas residency and touring galore
Touring is a major source of revenue for the country star, but it isn’t just her standard album tours that have earned her her fortune. From 2021 to 2025, Underwood headlined her Las Vegas residency, REFLECTION, and while her salary from the show hasn’t been disclosed, famous faces who have had residencies of their own, like Celine Dion, for example, earned upwards of $300 million. Carrie didn’t take every dollar home, however. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the singer donated over $235,000 from her residency to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Carrie dipped her toes in athleisure + apps
In 2015, Carrie launched the athletic brand, CALIA, in partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods, though she stepped down in 2021. The songstress is also behind the fitness and wellness app Fit52.
