Ella Langley dished on Miranda Lambert friendship
Ella Langley and Miranda Lambert’s friendship goes back several years, to when the two first met at the Broadcast Music, Inc. Awards. Even then, before Langley became a household name in country music, Lambert recognized her talent and saw the potential in the rising singer-songwriter.
Since then, the two singers have collaborated on songs like “Butterfly Season” and continue to publicly support one another. While chatting with Variety, Ella revealed the best piece of advice she’s received from the “Tin Man” singer.
“Miranda has given me more advice than I can possibly ask for. She’s always reminded me to stay true to myself, keep the music at the center of everything, and trust that the rest will take care of itself.” We love to see women supporting women!
Ella Langley appreciates the support from other country artists

Ella’s rapid rise took a toll on her mental health last year, but it was the support she received from her country music counterparts that really left an impact on her.
“Having Miranda there and Lainey and a lot of other women, Gretchen Wilson, Jo Dee Messina, who were just constantly there for me…There’s not a rule-book to this job, and there’s really only people’s stories to get you through,” she shared during an iHeart Radio appearance as reported by Holler. “Like, ‘Oh this is normal? I should feel this insane?’ And I think just having somebody else say like, ‘Yeah, that’s 100% how I felt, this is how it feels, and it’s okay to feel like you’re head is spinning off a rocker every day because that’s just the journey you’re on right now, and one day it’ll slow down’…Yeah, having that saved me, saved my life last year”.
Ella Langley talks opening acts and the love she has for the artists who join her
Langley also opened up about choosing the ladies that join her on tour, sharing with Variety, “My management team and I talk about the show and what makes sense for the fans and also artists I believe in and am a fan of in general. I am such a big fan of Kaitlin Butts, Gabriella Rose and Laci Kaye Booth, so it was a YES when we found out they were available and wanted to.”

Ella also mentioned her excitement at having Avery Anna, Madeline Edwards, Ernest, Kameron Marlowe and Dylan Marlowe join her as well, and when it comes to showing her support for these artists, her actions speak louder than words.
In the music video for her hit “Choosin’ Texas,” she had tourmate and pal Kaitlin Butts make an appearance in the video, playing the part of the girl who confronts her in the bathroom.
Whether Ella is leaning on the support from her fellow country artists or serving as that guiding force for others on the same path as her, it’s safe to say she’s a girl’s girl through and through.
