We love the confidence, capability and conviction Noah Wyle brings to the screen in The Pitt, but sometimes, we can’t help but look at that dashing face and see a young Dr. John Carter who stole our hearts all those years ago on ER. Though Wyle began acting years before he made his debut on the medical drama, even taking on notable roles in films like A Few Good Men (1992), it was the fast-paced, Chicago-based series that made him a household name. His character became a fan-favorite over the years, showing immense emotional growth and development from his first introduction as a privileged young doctor, and the role ultimately paved the way for his current gig as Dr. Robby in The Pitt. While it’s safe to say that the 54-year-old actor has aged like fine wine, we can’t help but look back on his younger years at the bright-eyed cutie we first got to know.
