Though Parks and Recreation wasn’t necessarily known for its romance, the series gave us some of our favorite fictional couples from Aubrey Plaza’s April and Chris Pratt’s Andy to Amy Poehler’s Leslie and Adam Scott’s Ben. While we adored these duos on screen, off screen, many of our favorite faces who brought this series to life have enjoyed long, happy marriages and have been involved in some high-profile relationships. Here, take a look at some of the most notable Parks and Recreation real-life cast relationships.

Amy Poehler and Will Arnett (2003—2016)

Funny lady Amy Poehler led this series as the bubbly, ever-so-optimistic public servant Leslie Knope, and despite her adorable romance with Ben Wyatt, played by Adam Scott, off-screen she was married to fellow comedic actor Will Arnett. Though the duo split in 2016, they share two children together and remain integrated in one another’s lives.

Chris Pratt and Anna Faris (2009—2017)

Chris Pratt played the adorably silly Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation, the total foil to his on-screen wife played by Aubrey Plaza. While he was bringing this character to life, he was married to none other than the hilarious actress Anna Faris. The two have one son together, Jack, and feel lucky to enjoy such a harmonious co-parenting situation.

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger (2018—Present)

Rashida Jones played the part of Ann Perkins in the beloved sitcom, and though she was tied to a few characters in the show, in real life, she’s been with Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig since 2016. The two have a son together named Isaiah.

Aubrey Plaza and Jeff Baena (2021—2025)

Plaza’s deadpan sense of humor has made her iconic both on and off this sitcom, and the hilarious actress met her match in her husband, Jeff Baena, who was a writer and director. The couple were together since 2011, but tied the knot in 2021. Earlier this year, Baena tragically passed away.

Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally (2003—)

One of the most iconic couples in Hollywood, Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally are a match made in heaven. Married since 2003, this duo has never shied away from professing their love for one another. Mullally even portrayed Tammy, the ex-wife of Offerman’s character, in Parks and Recreation.
