Meet the Real-Life Couples of ‘The Madison’ Cast—From Michelle Pfeiffer to Matthew Fox
Most of the cast are married and prefer to keep their personal lives private
While we might not know a whole lot about Taylor Sheridan’s newest Yellowstone spin-off, The Madison, there is one thing that we can most likely assume is going to happen: a love story that makes us laugh, cry, swoon and so much more. We saw it in Yellowstone with Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) and again in 1923 with Alex (Julia Schlaepfer) and Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar) and we simply cannot wait to discover what’s in store for The Madison. To tide us over until the show airs, though, we have found out who the cast is dating off-camera. Read on for more.
Michelle Pfeiffer
Award-winning actress Michelle Pfeiffer has been married twice throughout her career, first to director Peter Horton, whom she met in an acting class. They tied the knot in 1981 and remained together for seven years.
“I married Peter at a very young age,” Pfeiffer told Parade in 2012. “I’m not the same person I was then. I forget I was even married before.”
She then married screenwriter David E. Kelley in 1993 and has been with him ever since. According to the actress, they met on a blind date.
“We didn’t speak the whole night, and then he left early to go to another party and I thought, ‘Okay, that went well,’” Pfeiffer recalled on The Drew Barrymore Show in December 2023. “He actually finally called me two days later — that was also not okay. He called and we ended up talking on the phone for an hour, and it just went [from] that.”
They have two children, Claudia Rose Pfeiffer John Henry Kelley, together. They are also set to work on the AppleTV+ show Margo’s Got Money Troubles together, which airs in 2026.
Patrick J. Adams
Patrick J. Adams is an actor best known for playing Mike Ross in Suits. He has also made headlines over the years for his marriage to actress Troian Bellisario.
They met in 2009, got engaged in 2014, married in 2016, welcomed their first daughter in 2018 and their second in 2020. They also spent much of their relationship apart, because he was filming Suits in Canada, and she was in Hollywood working on Pretty Little Liars.
“We met, started falling in love with each other, and then I had to leave to go shoot the pilot of Pretty Little Liars. And so I was really devastated,” Bellisario told Jesse Tyler Ferguson on his podcast Dinner’s on Me in March. “Because I actually thought I was falling in love with this guy… And I was falling in love with the show.”
Adams and Bellisario are still together and often post pictures of one another on their social media accounts.
Elle Chapman
Elle Chapman has never been married, but she is believed to be dating Cobra Kai star Patrick Lewis. There are very few details on their relationship, but the actress has posted a photo of him on her Instagram and even tagged him in it. The post included several other pictures, and the caption read “The best year of my life.”
Lewis replied by commenting, “Superstar.”
That was the most recent post, but there have been others. The pair has also walked several red carpets together.
Matthew Fox
Matthew Fox has been married to Margherita Ronchi since 1992. Very few details surround their relationship, but they are believed to be still together and have two kids.
“I really don’t like the whole paparazzi thing in my daily life, or photographs of my kids and that type of thing. It does happen, but it’s very rare,” Fox said in 2008, per People. “I think if I was living in Los Angeles, it’d be more difficult for me. There’s not a lot of paparazzi who want to do the 2,500-mile trek into the South Pacific for a shot of me walking on the beach.”
Kevin Zegers
Kevin Zegers has been married to talent agent Jaime Feld since 2013. Like a lot of The Madison cast, there aren’t many details about their relationship, but at the time of their engagement, the actor reportedly said, per People, “I took Jaime out for a walk in the morning with our dog and went down to the beach and proposed. We’ve been together for six years, so I’ve been through a lot with her.”
They are believed to have one child.
Rebecca Spence
Rebecca Spence is married to Patrick Thomas Spence and has children with him, but many details surrounding those events remain unknown.
The actress did mention both of them on Instagram in December 2024, writing, “Thank you to…my husband and children for letting me live in the wild for a few magical months. I’m so excited to share this with you.”
She also shared in January that their oldest daughter had turned 18.
“Happy Birthday, my joy-filled love,” Spence wrote. “Thank you for making us parents and for expanding our hearts in ways we never imagined. We adore you, Clara.”
