What Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s Kids Are Doing Now—From Music to Ghost-Hunting
Catch up with Kelly, Jack and their under-the-radar older sister, Aimee!
As the frontman of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne revolutionized heavy metal in the ’70s, and his wild-man antics became the stuff of rock and roll legend. Given the fact that he notoriously bit the head off a bat during a concert and was often accused of promoting Satanism in his work, Osbourne didn’t quite seem like Father of the Year material—and the children he had with his first wife, Thelma Riley, said as much, while the rock god himself even admitted it.
Osbourne was married to Riley from 1971 to 1982, and they had a daughter, Jessica, and a son, Louis. Osbourne also adopted Elliot, his first wife’s son from a previous relationship. Jessica has dabbled in acting and currently works behind the scenes as an accountant for film and TV productions, while Louis is a DJ and Elliot is an actor.

In 1982, Osbourne married his manager, Sharon Arden, and they had three children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack. Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s marriage has had its fair share of ups and downs over the years, given the Prince of Darkness’ affairs and drug use, but against all odds, they’ve become one of rock’s longest-lasting couples, and have been married for 43 years. In 2002, Ozzy, Sharon and their kids won over a new generation of fans thanks to their hilarious MTV reality show The Osbournes.
With The Osbournes, fans got to see another side of Ozzy and came to feel like they were pals with Kelly and Jack (Aimee, meanwhile, chose not to participate in the show). Read on for a look at what Ozzy and Sharon’s kids have been up to in the 20 (!) years since the show ended in 2005.
Aimee Osbourne: The off-camera Osbourne
Ozzy and Sharon’s first child, Aimee Osbourne, was born in 1983.
Unlike her siblings, who rose to fame thanks to The Osbournes, Aimee refused to be on the reality show, and even moved out of the house at 16 to avoid being filmed. When asked about her decision not to participate, she said, “I’m not some weirdo depressed daughter that’s afraid of the world and locks herself in her room all day; I just didn’t choose to do the show. I want to be a singer, and I felt if I’d stayed with the Osbournes and done the whole thing I would have been typecast right away. [My mom] was hurt and we definitely had a tough time with disagreements. I’m more reserved and my private life is very important.”

While she may not have been on The Osbournes, Aimee did appear on MTV, as she acted in the channel’s 2003 modern-day adaptation of Wuthering Heights. In 2014, she had a voiceover role in the animated family film Postman Pat: The Movie.
Aimee started a synth pop band, called ARO (after her initials) in 2010. ARO released their first (and so far only) album, Vacare Adamaré, in 2020.
Ozzy wrote the 1995 song “Aimee” for his oldest daughter, and she’s said, “He’s always super-supportive . . . He’s the perfect combination of being supportive, but not overly involved to where it can feel a bit suffocating.”

Kelly Osbourne: The ’00s It Girl
Kelly Osbourne was born in 1984, and rose to stardom on The Osbournes thanks to her sassy attitude and punk style.
While on The Osbournes, Kelly released two albums, Shut Up (2002) and Sleeping in the Nothing (2005) and launched a fashion line, Stiletto Killers. Her endeavors in music and fashion design didn’t fully take off, and she became a reality TV fixture, hosting Project Catwalk (2007 to 2008) and serving as a panelist on Joan Rivers’ Fashion Police (2010 to 2015). She also competed on Dancing With the Stars (2009) and The Masked Singer (2019) and was a judge for Project Runway Junior (2015 to 2017) and Australia’s Got Talent (2016).

Kelly tried her hand at acting and was in the cast of the short-lived teen show Life as We Know It (2004 to 2005). She also appeared in episodes of Hotel Babylon (2009), Drop Dead Diva (2012), Are We There Yet? (2012), CSI: Cyber (2016) and Daytime Divas (2017) as well as movies like Should’ve Been Romeo (2012), So Undercover (2012) and Sharknado 2: The Second One (2014). From 2014 to 2016, she voiced a role on the animated series The 7D.

Kelly and her family came back to the small screen with Osbournes Reloaded, an ill-fated 2009 variety show that only aired a single episode. In 2018, she joined her dad and brother in their History Channel reality show Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour. Kelly and her dad also duetted on a 2003 cover of the Black Sabbath song “Changes.”
Like her father, Kelly battled addiction, and she went through rehab in 2004 and 2009. She is currently in a relationship with Sidney Wilson, the DJ for the nu metal band Slipknot, and their son was born in 2022.

In her 2017 memoir, Kelly wrote to her dad, “No matter what mistakes you have made in your personal life and your role as my father, there is no way I could have anything but respect for the fact that you’re 70 years old and selling out 70,000-seat arenas and running around stage for 2 1/2 hours a night. I challenge anyone to find a 19-year-old who puts on a better show,” and she’s called him, “one of the smartest men you will ever meet in your life.”

Jack Osbourne: The spooky TV host
Jack Osbourne, the youngest of Ozzy and Sharon’s children, was born in 1985. He brought a sarcastic sense of humor to The Osbournes, and his bickering with Kelly amused audiences.
Jack appeared in episodes of Dawson’s Creek and That ’70s Show during Osbournes-mania in 2003, and had a small role in the 2004 Olsen twins movie New York Minute, but he didn’t act very much and parlayed his fame into more reality TV gigs, hosting Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie (2005 to 2009) and Haunted Highway (2012 to 2013).

From 2016 to 2018, Jack traveled the world and learned about history with his dad in Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour. He could also be seen in reality shows like Armed & Famous (2007), I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! NOW! (2010 to 2011) and Dancing With the Stars (2013). He’s worked behind the scenes as a producer on a number of reality shows and documentaries, and directed a 2010 music video for his dad.
In recent years, Jack’s reality TV shows have had a spooky vibe, as he hosted the ghost-hunting series Portals to Hell from 2019 to 2022 and starred alongside his famous parents in the paranormally themed The Osbournes Want to Believe from 2020 to 2021.

Jack has since hosted the Travel Channel series Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror (2022), which explored subjects like Bigfoot and UFOs (and featured a special 2023 episode with his sister), Jack Osbourne’s Haunted Homecoming (2022) and Jack Obsourne’s Buried Bloodlines (2023). He currently hosts two podcasts on these themes, Ghost and Grit and Jack Osbourne’s the Most Haunted, and is active on YouTube.

Sadly, addiction runs in the Osbourne family, and Jack spent time in rehab as a teen. In 2012 he revealed that he had multiple sclerosis, and he’s since made an effort to prioritize his health.
In 2012, Jack married Lisa Stelly, and they had a daughter that year. They had two more daughters before divorcing in 2019. Jack married designer Aree Gearheart in 2023 and they have two daughters, Maple and Ozzy.
Jack said it was “awesome” traveling with Ozzy for their father-son reality show, and when asked about the most important lesson he learned from his parents, he revealed, “I think it’s probably work ethic. My parents, they grew up working, both of them, from the time they were really young, and it’s just like, roll your sleeves up, do it, don’t complain, keep your head down.”
