Stevie Nicks
As one of the lead vocalists of the group, Stevie Nicks chose not to have children, and she has spoken extensively on her reasoning.
“I couldn’t have really done both,” Nicks shared. “Now, many women can do both. I’m not saying it can’t be done,” she said in 2001. “For me, I knew that if I had a baby, I would have to take care of that baby, and I wouldn’t have been happy with a nanny taking care of my baby and walking into the room and having my child run across the room to another woman.”
Lindsey Buckingham
Although Lindsey Buckingham’s torrid love affair with Stevie Nicks is one for the books, the singer and musician has been happily married to his wife Kristen Messner since 2000, with whom he has three children.
William Gregory Buckingham
Buckingham and Messner welcomed their first child two years before their 2000 wedding. The couple had son William Gregory Buckingham on July 8, 1998. Although he is the son of a legendary rock star, William keeps a fairly low profile.
Leelee Buckingham
The second-born child of Buckingham and Messner was also their first girl. Their daughter, Leelee Buckingham, was born in 2000 (the exact date is unconfirmed). Leelee leads a more public life, sharing on her social media.
It seems Leelee has dipped her toe into different careers, working in various fields over the years. According to her LinkedIn page, she is currently an executive assistant at Full Stop Management, where she was previously an intern. She was also an assistant for her mother’s interior design business, as well as a real estate agent.
Stella Buckingham
The Buckingham’s welcomed their third and final child, daughter Stella Buckingham, in 2004. Stella, too, shares moments from her personal life on social media, including on her TikTok page, which features videos of her famous father.
Christine McVie
Like her close friend and bandmate, Christine McVie, too, chose not to have any children. She’s stated reasons similar to Nicks’, explaining that it would’ve been too difficult to be both a mother and a rockstar.
“There were never any children [for me],” she said. “There was always a career in the way… It was a case of one or the other, and Stevie would say the same. The lads went off and had children but for Stevie and I it was a bit difficult to do that.”
Mick Fleetwood
Married four separate times to three women, Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood has welcomed four children throughout his life with wives Jenny Boyd and Lynn Frankel.
Amy Fleetwood
The eldest of the Fleetwood bunch is daughter Amy Fleetwood, who was born in London on January 17, 1971, to Fleetwood and first wife, Jenny Boyd. Amy was born during his first marriage to Boyd, just a few years before they separated for the first time.
Over the years, Amy has dabbled in acting, appearing in The Rachel Papers (1989) and Small White House (1990). According to her Instagram, Amy is a writer and painter.
Lucy Fleetwood
Fleetwood and Boyd had a second daughter together, Lucy Fleetwood, but the date of her birth is unknown.
Ruby Fleetwood
Years later, during his marriage to Lynn Frankel, the couple welcomed twin daughters, including Ruby Fleetwood, who was born in 2002. Not much is known about either of his twin daughters.
Tessa Fleetwood
Ruby’s twin sister and Fleetwood’s fourth daughter is Tessa, who was also born in 2002. Not much is known about Tessa’s life either.
John McVie
It’s likely you remember John McVie’s marriage to fellow Fleetwood Mac bandmate, Christine McVie, from 1968 to 1976. But following their union, John remarried Julie Ann Reubens in 1978.
Molly McVie
John McVie and Julie Ann Reubens, who are still married, only have one child together—daughter Molly McVie, born in 1989. There isn’t much else known about her.
