TouchTunes is the largest in-venue interactive music and entertainment platform in the US, which allows users to choose songs on digital jukeboxes directly from their phones. Music fans can download the TouchTunes app, create playlists, and queue up their favorite songs at participating bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, and other venues.

TouchTunes experts reveal that the latest rankings show just how dominant country music has become. 9 of the top 10 songs played during May were country tracks, with only one song from another genre making the list: Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club.” The overwhelming country presence proves the genre is set to provide the soundtrack for summer, with Ella Langley currently leading the pack.

Country music is already staking its claim on summer 2026, and according to data from TouchTunes, Ella Langley has emerged as the frontrunner for Song of the Summer after dominating the platform’s charts during the first two weeks of May.

The rankings are based on plays across TouchTunes’ nationwide network of digital jukeboxes, giving listeners a real-time look at what people are actively choosing to hear in bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues across the country.
