If you’re craving chicken nuggets, it’s common to head to McDonald’s, KFC or Popeye’s to get your fix. But soon, you can also stop by your favorite fast food cantina—Taco Bell—to get those nuggs. The Tex-Mex chain is pushing its boundaries and will now offer chicken nuggets on its menu for the first time. Ready to chow down? Taco Bell chicken nuggets push fast food boundaries
Regarding fast food, everyone could easily name the chain that serves their favorite chicken nuggets. However, as of December 17, Taco Bell hopes to change that with their new menu item. Available for a limited time, starting on December 19, chicken nuggets will be a part of the Taco Bell lineup.
These crispy chicken bites are made with all-white meat chicken, marinated in a “zesty jalapeño buttermilk flavor,” and breaded with a unique combination of tortilla chips and breadcrumbs.
“As the inventors of Nacho Fries, Taco Bell is fully aware that reinventing an American classic with a Taco Bell twist is a responsibility we don’t take lightly,” Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell’s chief marketing officer, said in a press release. “But in a world dominated by chicken cravings, it was time to show the world how Taco Bell does chicken nuggets—unexpected and undeniably bold. The Crispy Chicken Nuggets deliver a crispier, more flavorful nugget experience, and combined with the Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce, we hope it will test people’s devotion to their favorite nuggets.”
The nuggets were tested in Minnesota in 2023 and earlier this year in Houston, and fans nationwide can now enjoy the chain’s take on a fast-food favorite.

What’s a chicken nugget without an accompanying dipping sauce? Taco Bell is launching nuggets and three exciting sauces to pair them with, including Hidden Valley Fire Ranch sauce, a new signature Bell sauce and a hot Jalapeño Honey Mustard sauce. More details on the sauces here:
- Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce: Taco Bell’s first-ever ranch partnership blends two iconic flavors: Taco Bell Fire Sauce and Hidden Valley Ranch.
- Bell Sauce: The all-new Bell Sauce offers a familiar, rich, creamy and tangy signature blend with subtle chili notes crafted with tomatoes, red chiles, and garlic.
- Jalapeño Honey Mustard: Rounding out the trio is the Jalapeño Honey Mustard, which fuses sweetness and heat. It features honey mustard with a kick of jalapeño.

To celebrate its new menu items, Taco Bell is also partnering with Hidden Valley Ranch. Hidden Valley Ranch has become the top choice for ranch lovers, and fans will love this unexpected flavor combination.
