Wendy’s Boo! Bags Are Here for Halloween—See What’s Inside and What Fans Are Saying
Find out the Halloween collectible being offered in adult and kids meals that has people excited
From McDonald’s to Dunkin’, fast food chain restaurants around the country have been getting into the Halloween spirit with unique offerings. Wendy’s is the latest to jump on the trend thanks to their own menu item featuring a Halloween collectible that has even adults tickled. Keep reading to find out more about Wendy’s Boo! Bags, plus what people on social media have to say about the special meal.
What are Wendy’s Boo! Bags—and why are they creating buzz?
For a bit of fun this spooky season, Wendy’s is releasing limited-time Boo! Bag meals at participating locations. The special meals joined the menu on October 21 and will be available through November 3 while supplies last.
It’s common for fast-food restaurants to offer themed meals for kids, but Wendy’s decided to take it a bit further. Though they will have a “Frosty Frights” meal available for young customers, these Boo! Bag meals are targeted to what Wendy’s is happily calling “kidults.”
What do Wendy’s Boo! Bag meals include?

According to the chain’s website, the meal includes three classic favorites: a Dave’s single burger, small fries and a small chocolate Frosty treat. The special Halloween twist comes in the form of two extra additions.
The first: A glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty figure. The small collectible toy is a little smiling vanilla Frosty with a skeleton painted on the cup.
Boo! Bag meals also include a Boo! Book, which Wendy’s has offered in past seasons. These coupon books feature offerings for five free junior Frosty treats and the chance to redeem a Wendy’s kids meal with any purchase. The proceeds from these books “benefit the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption to find safe, loving and permanent homes for more than 113,000 children in foster care,” shares Wendy’s.
But you don’t have to order the full meal to get your hands on the coupon book. Boo! Books can be ordered separately through the Wendy’s mobile app or self-order kiosks. (Look for the “Give something Back” category!)
Even better? All of the Boo! Bag goodies come in a special paper bag featuring the iconic Wendy sporting green bows on her braids instead of blue. Images of bats and skeletons round out the bag for a clever Halloween touch.
What’s inside Wendy’s Halloween kids meal and Frosty Frights?
For the little ones, Wendy’s is selling a Frosty Frights meal. This includes a choice of a hamburger, cheeseburger or four-piece chicken nuggets, junior fries or apple bites and a kid’s drink.
Naturally, this spooky meal also comes with a collectible figurine, but with even more options than the standard Boo! Bag toy. There are 11 in total that could end up in the Frosty Frights Bag, including Coolie Ghoulie, Frosty Bite, Franken Frosty, Cold Spell, Junior and Brrr Beast, reports People.

Some users on Twitter scoffed at the idea of putting toys into adult meals, while others were excited by the prospect. “I’m okay with an adult happy meal. I better get something awesome!” wrote user @TheSmugDog on the topic.
