Oreo Candy Canes Have Arrived to Make the Holidays Even Sweeter
We know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but we can already feel ourselves getting excited about Christmas. As if spending quality time with family around the tree and exchanging beautiful gifts weren’t enough, we now have the possibility of getting indulgent Oreo candy canes in our stockings. Yes, you read that right: Oreo candy canes.
Oreo candy canes have been the subject of much speculation and anticipation over the past six months. When junk food Instagram account Candy Hunting first announced their arrival, the comments ranged from “I love the aesthetic.. I tried to find black ones for the past couple of years with no luck” to “Like, can they stop?! Only actual Oreos are food.”
But many commenters and fellow junk food enthusiasts were wondering about how a “cookies and creme” flavored candy cane might taste. Well, if you’re burning with curiosity, now you can actually find out for yourself: Candy Hunting found them on the market at Woodman’s. They can now be found in stores nationwide, but if you want to save yourself the trouble of “hunting,” they are available for purchase on Amazon, for one box of 12 for $8.69.
Though we’ve never seen Oreo candy canes until now, we can’t say we’re surprised that the brand is going down this route. After all, Oreo is famous for coming up with some equally delicious and wacky flavor combinations — some more questionable than others!
Remember these gems?
But as loyal fans of America’s favorite cookie, we’re seriously tempted to taste America’s potential new favorite candy cane. What about you? Would you try Oreo’s latest creation?
