Kristina Mastrocola

Kristina Mastrocola is a writer and senior editor at First for Women and Woman’s World magazines. She has been covering everything from clever life hacks and home organizing solutions to emotional and psychological wellness to the latest health and nutrition news for nearly 20 years. She won a National Mature Media Award for a story on overcoming the stress and everyday challenges of caregiving. Her favorite part of the job is getting to interview a broad range of experts including psychologists, spiritual leaders, world-renowned medical doctors and, perhaps most important, real women with extraordinary stories of perseverance and overcoming.

Prior to joining a360media, Kristina freelanced for Health Monitor Network, a patient-education print and digital publishing company where she was able to share practical, actionable healthcare advice with readers seeking relief from chronic conditions. Before that, she interned at Psychology Today, where she reported on the latest research and mental wellbeing trends. She graduated Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., with a degree in English literature, and served on the editorial board of Helicon Magazine, Vassar’s literary and arts magazine. She currently lives in suburban New Jersey where she divides her time between playing with her way-too-vocal Siamese cat, Puccini, and (unsuccessfully) chasing deer away from her prized tulips.
