Kelly Clarkson Is Quarantining In a 1-Room Cabin With 5 Family Members — Take a Look Inside
They're also surrounded by more than 400 cows.
Like the rest of us spending all our time cooped up right now, tons of celebrities have been sharing how they’re keeping themselves occupied during the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. Of course, most of them have massive houses we could only dream of getting to enjoy while under quarantine. Kelly Clarkson, on the other hand, decided the best place to spend lockdown with her family would be a one-room cabin.
You read that right, one room. The petite abode is currently being shared by five members of the family: Clarkson, her husband, Brandon Blackstock, Clarkson’s step-son Seth, 13, and the couple’s two children River, 5, and Remington, 3. (Blackstock’s daughter Savannah, 18, seems to be staying elsewhere, which provides a little extra space.)

And you thought being crammed into a house with your family was cutting into your personal space! They don’t even seem to have a bathroom in the cabin to put a door between her and everyone else if she starts to feel stressed. Don’t worry, there’s definitely one somewhere on the property for the family to use when nature calls — they aren’t roughing it that much. Clarkson also likes to hang out by the shower after the little ones have gone to bed and she feels like taking requests for songs to sing on Instagram.
Although their actual living quarters might be tiny, they are also situated on the family’s Montana cattle ranch with plenty of wide open spaces to enjoy outdoors. Clarkson and Blackburn purchased the land, which they dubbed Vintage Valley, about a year and a half ago and moved in just in time to hunker down.
Along with her family, the ranch is home to over 400 cows — and they all recently started giving birth to new calves. Clarkson shared another video of one particularly sweet baby that took a liking to her daughter (warning before you click, though, the video includes footage of a few of the calves being born). That’s definitely an exciting way to pass the time!
The small cabin might not be what many of us would think of when locking ourselves down with family, but it certainly seems to be working out great for Clarkson and her loved ones.
