Prince Harry Already Has the Cutest Nickname for His Baby

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are coming to the end of their travels around Australia and the surrounding countries, but not without giving us another adorable tidbit about their growing family. Despite the rainy weather that greeted them in New Zealand, soon-to-be dad Harry couldn’t help but beam as he addressed the crowd at Abel Tasman National Park on October 28.

Harry and Meghan walked with members of Onetahua Marae, a Māori community on the island’s Golden Bay, as they sang a traditional song for the royals. In a precious display of affection, Harry dutifully held the umbrella between himself and Meghan to ward off any raindrops as his wife snuggled up to his side. The couple then gave community members the “Hongi” greeting by gently touching their foreheads and noses to each other.

Although Meghan’s belly was more hidden at this event than others, Harry couldn’t help but acknowledge their growing bundle of joy while speaking in front of the group. After thanking them for their kindness, Harry called the rain a “blessing” on the area. He went on while gesturing toward Meghan, saying, “From my wife, myself, and our little bump, it’s a blessing to be here.” How sweet is it that he’s already calling their baby by the nickname “little bump”? And his smile after he said it made the whole moment even more heartwarming. Check it out for yourself in the video below — his speech starts at around the 30-second mark.

You can really tell just how excited Harry is to be a bona fide dad soon! The couple then spent some time chatting with the group before heading off to the next event on their agenda. Of course, they were holding hands as they took in the beautiful surroundings. Their frequent PDA lets us know one thing’s for sure: Harry and Meghan are going to be a totally unified team when it comes to tackling parenthood.
