5 Pets With Fabulous Fur Patterns That Will Make You Do a Double Take

Tags:

One of our favorite parts about our cats and dogs is their soft, fluffy fur. Who doesn’t love cuddling and snuggling up with a four-legged friend after a long, tough day? Even the simple act of petting a friendly feline or canine on the head can be enough to make us smile. So it’s no surprise that we’re also huge fans of checking out unique pet fur patterns — and if you’re anything like us, we think you’ll be as well.

It goes without saying that all pet fur patterns are beautiful in their own way. Heck, even kitties and doggos with plain, solid coats have a little something special about their fur if you look closely enough. But every so often, a certain natural patch or design on a pet will really catch our eye, making it nearly impossible to look away. As you might expect, many of these fur patterns involve heart patches. After all, they’re eye-catching, adorable, and instantly recognizable. On top of that, they’re incredibly fitting, too — after all, what beloved pet doesn’t metaphorically wear his or her heart on his or her sleeve? The ones with heart fur patches or patterns have the unique opportunity to do so literally as well. That alone would make any pet owner practically burst with pride.

That said, just because a pet has a lovable fur pattern doesn’t necessarily mean it needs to be a heart — or be anywhere close to resembling a heart. In fact, one cat owner showed off a pet kitty with a fur pattern that resembled an entire squirrel. (Yes, really.) The owner dubbed the pattern as “majestic,” and after seeing it, we have to say we agree! We never know what to expect from the next new cat or dog we meet in real life — or see online —but from now on, we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled for unique prints. Who knows? Maybe there’s even a secret tiny patch on our own precious pets that somehow we haven’t spotted yet!
