Fresh and Fruity Berry-Orange Sangria Recipe Is a Guaranteed Crowd Pleaser

Sangria is simply red wine infused with fresh fruit and juice. The punch originated in Spain and has been around for centuries. But it didn’t gain popularity in the States until the 1964 World’s Fair in New York. We top off our Berry-Orange Sangria recipe with lemon-lime seltzer for a fizzy finish. It makes the perfect sip for any get-together.

For tart-sweet base, we make a quick syrup with sugar and cranberries. Next, add apple and orange slices to a pitcher. But you can sub in your favorites. Next pour in cranberry juice and wine. Any dry red will work. Check out these tips for choosing one. Then we stir in a splash of apple brandy for a kick that pairs perfectly with the cranberries. Now just let the mixture chill in the fridge for several hours until the flavors blend. To serve, top with seltzer and get ready to imbibe. Give this pitcher drink a try and leave a comment below.
