Deliciously Creamy (and Easy!) Orange-Pecan French Toast Recipe Is Delightful Any Day of the Week
Our simple from-scratch syrup adds buttery richness to this twist on a brunch classic
French toast is a scrumptious treat served at weekend brunch with family and friends. But why reserve it for special occasions? That’s what inspired us to come up with this quick-prep Orange-Pecan French Toast recipe. It’s a cinch to whip up any day of the week.
Brown sugar simmered with creamy butter and crunchy pecans creates a rich syrup. It’s so decadent no one will guess it comes together in minutes. For the egg mixture, we stir in orange juice, vanilla and cinnamon. The result is a subtle tart-sweet finish with notes of warm spice. For a twist, try sourdough, cinnamon-raisin bread or even brioche instead of white bread. Any of these choices will be delicious topped with the buttery syrup!
