Holiday Brownie Trees

Decorated with candy and sprinkles, our one-bowl brownies will get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

  • 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 6 Tbs. butter
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 12 (6″ long) straws
  • ½ cup light green candy melts
  • Rainbow nonpareils and star sprinkles


  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Wrap outside of 9″x3″ springform pan with foil; coat pan with cooking spray. In large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate and butter; microwave in 20-sec. intervals, stirring, until melted and smooth. Stir in sugar until blended, then eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour until just blended. Spread in pan. Bake until toothpick inserted into center comes out with moist crumbs clinging, 22–25 min. Cool in pan on rack.
  2.  Remove side of pan. Cut brownie into 12 wedges. Insert 1 straw into side of each wedge. In microwave-safe bowl, microwave candy melts in 20-sec. intervals, stirring, until melted and smooth. Transfer to plastic sandwich bag; snip hole in one corner. Pipe candy over brownies. While still wet, sprinkle with nonpareils and stars.
