Amanda Prost has worked in the magazine industry for more than 25 years, covering everything from interior design and luxury lifestyles to personal finance, pets, dining and etiquette. She joined the staff of Woman’s World magazine as managing editor in 2008 and is currently an executive editor of a360media’s Women’s Group, overseeing content for both print and digital versions of Woman’s World and First for Women, focusing primarily on food and nutrition. She is also editor in chief of the quarterly food-focused magazine Celebrate! With Woman’s World. Amanda was a Journalism Scholar at the University of Missouri—Columbia, where she graduated magna cum laude with honors with a Bachelor of Journalism in Magazine and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. There, she wrote for the Columbia Missourian and Vox magazine. She began her career as a custom content creator in the healthcare sphere before moving into lifestyle publications. She was part of the launch team for Health & Life magazines and later served as managing editor for New York Spaces, winner of a 2007 Eddie Award. Fun fact: Amanda once rode a roller coaster nonstop for more than an hour to interview a man trying to break the world’s record for longest marathon on a roller coaster (Richard Rodriguez holds the title to this day).
