Total Time:

2 hrs., 45 min.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup (6 oz.) dark chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 (16 oz.) cont. dark chocolate frosting
  • Green decorating icing
  • Seedless raspberry jam
  • Nonpareils

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Line 9″ square baking pan with parchment paper. In pot, mix butter and sugar; over low heat, cook, stirring occasionally, until melted, 1 min. Whisk in chocolate until smooth. Transfer to bowl, whisk in eggs. Stir in flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder. Pour into pan; bake until center is just set, 18–20 min. Let cool. Chill 1 hr.
  2. Trim edges. Cut brownie into three sections. Cut each section into 5 (1¾” wide) trees. Place at least 1″ apart on rack set over baking sheet. In microwave-safe bowl, microwave frosting in 15-sec. intervals, stirring, until pourable. Pour melted frosting over brownies to coat; let dry. Transfer to serving plate. Using decorating icing, pipe on tree shapes. Decorate as desired with jam and nonpareils.
