Chocolate-Walnut Brownie Cookies
These moist, fudgy cookies, with a touch of coffee, are loaded with chocolate chips and rich walnuts.

Ingredients
- 1⅓ cups all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 2½ cups semisweet chocolate chips, from 24-oz. pkg.
- ½ cup butter
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. instant coffee granules
- 1 cup walnut pieces
- ½ cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Make dough: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; reserve. In large microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips and butter; microwave on High in 1-minute intervals, stirring, until melted. Stir in sugars; cool 5 minutes. Stir in eggs, vanilla and coffee granules. Stir in flour mixture until combined, then 1 cup semisweet chips and walnuts.
- Bake cookies: Drop dough by 2 tablespoonfuls 2″ apart onto baking sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until cookies are just set in center; do not overbake. Cool on pans on racks 5 minutes. Transfer to racks; cool completely.
- Decorate cookies: In separate microwave-safe bowls, microwave white chocolate chips and remaining semisweet chocolate chips, stirring, until smooth. Cool. Using fork, drizzle chocolates over cookies. Let stand until set, 15 minutes.
