Recently, Bath & Body Works teamed up with the iconic New York City-based bakery Milk Bar to launch a dessert-themed collection. Scents in the collection included Birthday Cake, Cookie Butter and Cereal Milk. But the Cereal Milk scent has the internet conflicted about whether it’s delicious or too much. What is the Cereal Milk scent?
The scented collection at Bath & Body Works is based on Milk Bar’s tasty dessert, Cereal Milk Soft Serve. Milk Bar writes of the flavor, “Inspired by our original legendary flavor, this collection brings all the nostalgic, bottom-of-the-cereal-bowl scents straight to your home.”
The limited-edition Bath & Body Works scent is described as a mix of “soft ice cream, golden cornflakes and frosted sugar.” You can snag the scent in a variety of products: body cream, a 3- or single-wick candle, hand soap, fragrance mist, body wash, wallflowers refill, hand sanitizer and shimmer mist.
What people are saying about Cereal Milk
Although Milk Bar is a beloved bakery spot, the scented products have had mixed reviews from Bath & Body Works shoppers, with some claiming they love it, while others insist it was a miss.
One Reddit user shared a photo of all their Cereal Milk-scented products with the caption, “I’ve seen so many people drag Cereal Milk Soft Serve and I’m over here quietly hoarding it like I’m preparing for the cereal-scent apocalypse lol.”
Someone else shared, “It’s my fave from the Milk Bar line too! I can see why the cornflake note would throw people off but I’m addicted to the milky scent more.” Another wrote, “I’m so obsessed. I had to restrain myself from buying more today because I already have enough.”

Not only can you check out the Cereal Milk Soft Serve scent but the Milk Bar x Bath & Body Works line recently dropped a holiday collection that’s perfect to keep you toasty on the cold days of December.
The scents in this holiday collection include Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Cookie, Peppermint Bark Truffle and Raspberry Holiday Pie Bar. Each of these scents is available in the same variety of products as the Cereal Milk scent.
