Power Couple on a Mission: How Kristen and Trevor Franco Are Disrupting Home Services, One Business at a Time

Entrepreneurship is a winding, often unforgiving road, lined with risk, sleepless nights, and more questions than answers. It’s a path not meant for the faint of heart. And even fewer can thrive on it as a pair. Yet, Kristen and Trevor Franco are a rare kind of duo; a couple not only bound by love but driven by a shared, almost magnetic force for building, scaling, and transforming industries. Together, they are the unstoppable force behind Vessel Home Services LLC.

From high school to industry powerhouse, Kristen and Trevor embody what it means to dream in sync. Each brings a different strength to the table: Kristen, a savvy beauty-industry executive turned licensed HVAC boss lady, and Trevor, a former aerospace tech and natural leader with deep industry roots. They are, in every sense of the word, a unit with passion, grit, and an almost supernatural ability to grow their vision at warp speed.

Kristen grew up immersed in entrepreneurship. Her father, a serial business owner and U.S. Marine, didn’t just build businesses; he built her foundation. From ordering AC parts in her father’s home remodeling companies to running twelve retail beauty stores as a district manager, she was always watching, learning, and preparing. When COVID shut down her stores, she didn’t panic. She pivoted. “I thought it was time for us to get out on our own,” Kristen says. “Trevor was one man in a truck, making serious money for someone else. I knew it was time we built something for us.”

Trevor’s story echoes a legacy of family and quiet resilience. His family owned an HVAC company for over 45 years, and though he once walked away, into aerospace engineering, no less, the pull of legacy proved too strong. After his father’s passing, and a successful stint at a major company, Trevor stepped away from a paycheck few could ever refuse and stepped fully into his calling.

“I wasn’t ready when my dad offered me the business years ago,” he recalls. “But after he passed, something changed. I realized my passion had always been in HVAC, and Kristen was the one who kept saying, ‘Start your own.’ So, we did.”

In just 18 months, the couple took Vessel Home Services from a scrappy team of three, Trevor in the truck, Kristen on the phones, and one tech, to an industry giant with nine companies, several branded vehicles on the road, and clients across the state. This isn’t just hyper-growth; it’s entrepreneurial combustion.

But the growth isn’t chaotic; it’s calculated. The Francos have expanded rapidly through strategic acquisitions, absorbing smaller companies to raise service standards across the industry. Their aim? Not just to scale fast, but to do it right; preserving the community-first values that too often disappear in fast-growing enterprises. “Growth is only good if it makes the industry better,” Kristen explains. “We’re not just creating jobs; we’re restoring trust in a trade that people rely on daily.” Trevor agrees. “Our slogan says it best: A Step Forward in the Business Evolution.”

What makes Vessel Home Services truly stand out isn’t just its explosive growth; it’s the heart that powers it. Kristen is the company’s license holder and its strategic backbone. As a female owner in a traditionally male-dominated space, she’s broken more than a few ceilings and done it with style and precision.

“We’re proud to be family-owned and operated,” she says. “But even more, we’re proud of the reputation we’ve earned, positive reviews, loyal clients, and a team that feels like family.”

The couple doesn’t just hire anyone because culture matters. Trust matters. And their clients notice. “People know us by name and face,” Kristen says. “That’s rare in this business.” Even the sentimental touches haven’t been forgotten. One of the most emotional wins? Tracking down and securing Trevor’s father’s original business phone number, a symbol of continuity that now serves as Vessel’s primary contact.

While other entrepreneurs chase exits, Kristen and Trevor are building something lasting, for their kids, their community, and the industry itself. “This isn’t just about money,” Trevor says. “It’s about legacy. Knowing our kids will see what we’ve built, and hopefully carry it even further.”

Kristen adds, “We want to keep that family-first energy alive, no matter how big we get. Whether it’s a customer calling us directly, or a team member who feels seen and valued, we want to keep that intimacy in our business.”

The couple’s connection, both personal and professional, is the superpower behind it all. “When your rock is right next to you,” Trevor says, “you know someone’s always there to catch you if you fall. And we never stop dreaming, even at home, we’re bouncing ideas off each other. Our next idea? It’s already in the works. And it’s massive.”

Looking ahead, Vessel Home Services LLC shows no signs of slowing down. While HVAC may have been their launchpad, it’s far from their final destination. The Francos are already eyeing plumbing services, new markets, and more acquisitions to expand their footprint and their impact. “We’re always looking to evolve,” says Kristen. “If you’re not progressing, what are you doing?”

Truly, Kristen and Trevor Franco are proof that love, grit, and bold ambition can spark something bigger than just profit. It’s not just another business, but a legacy, a movement. And the rest of the industry? Well, it better keep up. Because if you think HVAC is where this story ends, you haven’t met the Francos.
