Donny Osmond Will Perform With His 14-Year-Old Self in Vegas—See the AI Magic in Action!

Donny Osmond’s Las Vegas residency at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino already has us beyond excited at what’s expected, and recently, the 67-year-old icon revealed that there’s so much more in store than we had anticipated. In a post shared to Osmond’s Instagram, the singer revealed that longtime fans would be in for quite the treat at one of the dozens of shows he will be performing, as he will be joined by a special guest on stage—himself.
“I have a new co-star at my Las Vegas residency and we are going to be making history together,” Osmond states in the video post. “Can you imagine sharing the stage with your 14-year-old self? Well, it’s happening. Thanks to some mind-blowing AI and CGI technology, I’m going to be talking and singing with Donny Osmond—you know, the one from 1972.”

The Instagram video proceeds to provide a sneak peek of what fans might expect from the duo during the Vegas residency, and seeing Donny chat with his young self was certainly a sight to see—we can only imagine what this might look like brought to life on stage! Many took to the comments to share their thoughts on this exciting new addition to the show.
“Going right back to the early 70s when I was 8 years old and the closest I got to Donny Osmond was a ‘pull out’ poster in a teen magazine and watching the Osmonds cartoons on TV, but this AI/CGI is on another level! A level none of us Osmond fans would ever have thought about,” wrote an excited fan in the comment section. “This is so up your alley…always the genius of electronics and everything futuristic. Bravo to both Donnys!,” celebrated another.

Osmond is certainly no stranger to the Las Vegas stage. For 11 years, he shared the stage with his sister Marie at the Flamingo Las Vegas, which concluded in 2019. In total, they gave over 1,700 shows and entertained fans for over a decade—and Donny’s solo show is no different!
Kicking off in 2021, it was announced in September of 2024 that the show would be proceeding throughout 2025 to continue delivering the Osmond flair to fans in Sin City. “Osmond’s return to stage is an exciting, energy-filled musical journey,” says the Harrah’s site. “Guests can expect a party as he performs his timeless hits and introduces brand new music in a completely reimagined song and dance celebration.”
