General Hospital star Steve Burton, known for his portrayal of Jason Morgan, tied the knot! The actor, who has also appeared on soaps such as Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless, leads a rather busy life, also working as a weight loss coach when he isn’t shining on the small screen, but 54-year-old Burton put a pause on his day-to-day to celebrate the love he’s found in his wife, Michelle Lundstrom. It was on social media where the soap star first connected with his new bride, and as reported by People, the pair realized that they had a lot in common, bonding over their shared love of ‘80s music and films. The two went public with their romance about a year ago, and since then, their love has been on full display. Smitten with one another, in January of this year, Steve got down on one knee.

Michelle Lundstrom, though not in the soap sphere, is a star in her own right. The New York native has been forging a path in the culinary industry. She appeared on Netflix’s Barbecue Showdown and stood out amongst her peers, and if you follow her on social media, you’ve likely seen some of the dozens of innovative and delicious recipes she’s shared. The recipe creator and social media personality is beloved for her tasty bites and personality.
A look at their fairytale wedding
On May 17, 2025, this adorable duo tied the knot in a California ceremony full of romance. The intimate ceremony and reception was attended by their closest friends and family and allowed for a sweet celebration of their love. Lundstrom stunned in a strapless, lace dress that had a vintage charm we adored, and Burton looked dashing in a traditional black suit and tie.
“Honestly, I’ve never felt so loved and cared for in my entire life,” Burton shared with People. “I’m incredibly grateful to have her by my side. She is the most amazing, beautiful, and selfless woman I’ve ever known. I love her so much.”
Lundstrom is also floating on cloud nine, telling the outlet, “To have the most incredible man I’ve ever known by my side forever brings me so much peace and happiness. He is the love of my life, and I feel so blessed to call him mine.”

Though Burton doesn’t have children of his own, he was married to his former wife for 23 years before they went their separate ways in 2022. Lundstrom, on the other hand, has two daughters, aged 21 and 10, and one son, 19, of her own from a previous relationship—and she was happy as can be that they were able to play a part in her big day. All three of her kids got to be a part of their wedding party, making this a full-on family affair, and we wish this duo nothing but the best as they start their life together!
